W
hat We Do at Regent ProStaff Nursing

Hiring a foreign nurse, at best, is a daunting task. The selection, the screening, the immigration process and the culture shock on the new arrivals in a new country are just a few of the factors that add to the challenge of this effort.

This is where Regent ProStaff Nursing's expertise comes in. Regent will make it so simple for you, that it is no more work than hiring a local nurse.

In conjunction with health care facilities like yours, we operate Overseas Nurse Recruitment Center of U.S.A. in Beijing, China, the most promising nurse market in the world.

At Regent, we handle the entire process of delivering a RN to your door and ready to work with just half an hour of your Human Resource Department's time for paperwork.

Recruitment:
Our China offices work with 5 year medical universities, 3 year nursing colleges as our qualified nurses are all from these schools.  We have our own "American Nurse Training Program" classes throughout China that prepare nurses for the CGFNS test. We also work with Nursing Associations to select qualified nurses for CGFNS and TOEFL English Proficiency training including the Test of Written English (TWE) and the Test of Spoken English (TSE).

Evaluation:
After initial selection is complete, we review each candidate's background, school transcripts and work experience. We then begin the process of preparing the candidates to study for and pass the CGFNS and TOEFL tests.

Qualification:
Other than passing the CGFNS and TOEFL tests, a qualifying nurse will have had at least one year bedside experience.  These and other factors will be checked against our Qualification Checklist (QC).

Immigration:
Once all the requirements are met, we will need 1/2 an hour of the hiring hospital's time. We will provide a complete profile of the candidate to the sponsoring hospital, including a video interview of the candidate.  We also review with the candidates the hospital or healthcare facility that has offered to sponsor them. We make sure that they understand the important geographic, climatic and demographic information, as well as the pay scale and benefits package the sponsor will offer after they have passed the NCLEX and are Registered Nurses.

With this complete, we move ahead with our Immigration Firm, to begin the visa work for each new candidate.

Settlement & Support
After the immigration visa is acquired, the travel division of Regent Group will issue an air ticket to the nurse, help with logistical details, including housing, acquiring driver's license and community support.  Regent has been working with Chinese churches here in the U.S. offering personal and community support to new immigrants for many years.  In short, we cover every detail in the relocation and settlement process, so that the hospital can focus on its own work and the nurses can immediately start to assimilate into their new environment.

Passing NCLEX-RN
Once we issue the air ticket to the nurse candidate while she is still in China, we will start the application on behalf of the nurse for the NCLEX-RN test.  The nurse will have already spent countless hours preparing for the test. She will sit for the first available board test.  We are very confident that the chance to pass NCLEX-RN is 100%.

In summary, Regent will provide the sponsor with a qualified registered nurse with little effort from the employer, other than the agreement to act as the candidate's sponsor.
